Island Vibes

ABOUT US Island Vibes was born from a passion for cooking and sharing flavors that take us back to the island of Curaçao. Founder and chef Tinsang started his career in the kitchen with a deep love for food and unique flavors. He gained experience in several restaurants in Amsterdam, but after a period of reflection, he decided to shift his focus to his own adventure.

In 2018, at just 23 years old, he opened his first business. After a few years, he moved to Curaçao, where he not only gained new experiences but also learned how to cope with life's unexpected twists. Despite the challenges, Tinsang learned perseverance and determination, which further shaped his vision for cooking and entrepreneurship.

After living and working in Curaçao for two years, he returned to the Netherlands in 2020. There, he began cooking on a small scale from home and selling his dishes, refocusing on his passion. In 2024, he was approached by two friends with the opportunity to open his own location. Without hesitation, he seized this chance, and Island Vibes was born.

Island Vibes stands for fresh, lovingly prepared food, inspired by the flavors of Curaçao. The success of the business continues to grow, with plans for future expansion to multiple locations.
